Join USI Affinity, a Division of USI Insurance Services, one of the top 300 large employers named by Forbes Magazine, as an Administrative Specialist! In this role, you will use your strong administrative skills, attention to detail to process incoming and outgoing applications for new policies, changes to, policy issuances, and assist with billing processing for all accounts. Duties include reviewing insurance applications primarily for Life and Disability policies to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance policy changes, changing policy records to conform to insured party's specifications, canceling insurance policies as requested by client, and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records. In addition, you will provide internal/external customer support regarding various billing methods, reporting, and researching/troubleshooting billing issues.  Location is in Matawan, NJ (Exit 120 on GSP).


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Strong data entry and customer service orientation along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an administrative processing capacity in financial services (insurance industry preferred).

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES                                                   

  • Must be proficient in the MS Office suite of products including being proficient with Excel (i.e. creating/formatting spreadsheets; sorting data; data entry).  Must be able to learn and work with any company proprietary software tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational, attention to detail and communication skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Must have or develop strong knowledge of USI Affinity’s product line and related insurance concepts.

  • Must have a strong customer service orientation.
  • Have strong numerical ability
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
