The Regional Select Practice Leader is responsible for driving continuous revenue growth for Select Commercial Lines, managing the Select sales producers, and for achieving sales and budget goals. The Practice Leader will be a key part of the Regional Executive Leadership Team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of Select Producers, providing leadership and coaching to staff to generate revenue and meet sales goals.

  • Drive behaviors to ensure that staff is actively prospecting, generating first appointments, and closing new business opportunities to meet revenue growth targets.

  • In conjunction with the regional recruiting team, source, screen, hire, and onboard new producers who are capable of generating new revenues that exceed $100k per year on an annualized basis.

  • Create positive relationships with other practices (Property/Casualty, Employee Benefits, Personal Risk Services) to encourage two-way cross-selling.

  • Ensure Select producers are completing all requirements of the New Producer Expectation Form.

  • Responsible for distribution of suspects and prospects to producers by working with the local CRM Champion, supported by the USI Data Integrity Team.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5-8 years of successful sales experience in the brokerage space or in a leadership role in Property and Casualty

  • Must be a highly skilled individual that is driven to motivate others to achieve sales goals

  • Ability to coach/mentor in concert with recruiting and hiring sales producers

  • Excited about and familiar with: a cross-sell approach; selling coverage as opposed to price, and proactive sales management and tracking

  • Ability to win the confidence of other practice leaders and producers with technical ability, presentation style, and sophistication

  • Undergrad degree and Insurance designations i.e. CIC, ARM.
