Provides the business with meaningful human resource metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics. Uses data analysis to provide insights into key strategic issues related to workforce planning and management. Serves as HR analytics subject matter expert and supports leaders across the business in the utilization of HR dashboards and analytics to support achievement of business objectives.  This position will be based out of corporate offices in Valhalla, NY.


  • Develops and delivers timely and accurate HR scorecards, dashboards, and reports that are aligned with business requirements
  • Utilizes technology and analytical tools to analyze and report on key metrics and trends in all areas of human capital analytics, including succession planning, recruitment, talent management, compensation, employee retention, etc.
  • Conducts data gathering and needs assessment on an ongoing basis to provide quantitative analysis that produces actionable insights for the business; provides timely updates to reports and scorecards in support of organizational change
  • Provides reports and analyses in response to ad hoc requests and communicates findings to appropriate stakeholders
  • Communicates analyses and insights to leaders by summarizing conclusions, translating analytics into clear, understandable themes, and identifying analytic results that drive actionable insights
  • Serves as an internal resource to train company leaders regarding the use of workforce data and analytics via existing technology and self-service tools
  • Understands the Company’s strategic and operating plans as they relate to management of the workforce
  • Recommends, develops and implements metrics and reporting to measure HR program effectiveness
  • Partners with HRIS team to create and maintain data to support HR analytics needs and to ensure integrity and consistency of reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years’ experience with developing and using advanced analytics and reporting in Human Resources functions
  • BA/BS in related discipline required; Advanced degree in quantitative major preferred
  • Experience with enterprise HRIS, TA and CRM systems required, UltiPro and Avature preferred
  • SQL experience and an understanding of database design principles
  • Current working knowledge of HR technology and use of metrics in HR
  • Strong experience developing and generating reports, analytics, and dashboards
  • Ability to develop and frame analytical findings in a clear and meaningful way
  • Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills
  • Strong listening and communications skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work with various levels of management and maintain a critical level of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and meet appropriate deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong aptitude with MS Office tools, especially advanced Excel and Visual Basic skills, with VB & SQL Visualization tools a plus
