Description and Requirements
General Description:
The Corporate Financial Analyst’s core responsibilities will center on financial planning and analysis but the Analyst will have an opportunity to get involved with specialty areas including but not limited to:
- Dynamic Reporting & Tools
- Operating regions support and training
- Acquisition integration & support
- Financial Systems Administration (BPC)
- Private Equity Board Book Preparation
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the consolidation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting data; prepare summary reports for management.
- Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for review with CFO, CEO and Board of Directors.
- Develop and support dynamic Excel-based reporting tools to enhance the reporting process.
- Work with finance staff in the field to resolve data integrity issues and explain performance variances .
- Provide management with ad hoc financial analysis upon request .
- Forecasting and budgeting centralized managed service departments.
- Assist with audit requests as needed.
- Identification, explanation and understanding of variances due to acquisition activity and integration.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- BA/BS degree in Finance or related field required.
- 2-5 years of related experience in Finance.
- Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and work-ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAP / BPC a plus.
