Apply nowGeneral Description: Responsible for driving continuous revenue growth for assigned region. The Regional Market Leader will be a key part of the Emerson Rogers (ER) leadership team, reporting directly to the Regional President.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving annual revenue expectations as prescribed by ER’s budget. Develop a regional business plan that will generate revenue from existing and new clients.
- Manage a team of Account Executives. Provide technical, expert, and strategic support to the sales team. Includes providing guidance, consulting, presentation participation, and proposal leadership and review.
- Accountable for line of sight new and lost business forecasting each quarter.
- Strategize with Account Executives to retain business year over year.
- Create positive synergy within practice to encourage two-way cross selling.
- Drive consistent and predictable long term profitable new client relationships.
- Develop internal resources/experts to assist all Account Executives in closing business.
- Establish pricing strategies that are consistent with budget requirements.
- Participate in branding and visibility strategies to promote Emerson Rogers. Includes seminar development and participation, author articles, and professional meeting presentations.
- Develop new and enhance existing services and products.
- Understand and communicate Emerson Rogers’ initiatives.
- Drive utilization and keep current all prospecting and relationship building opportunities within the company’s sales automation system.
- Positively represent ER in meetings, seminars, trade shows, and networking events following USI’s national strategy.
- Work collaboratively to maximize results in all markets.
- Assist Regional President in finding and recruiting acquisition candidates.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 10 years + experience in an operations or leadership role in a group health insurance setting.
- Prior management experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, finance, or accounting.
- Must hold a Life, Accident & Health insurance license.
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Exceptional sales, marketing, and client relations skills.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to direct and monitor the activities of others.
- Executive presence with strong technical ability, presentation, and sophistication.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $225,000 - $250,000
