Description and Requirements
General Description: Assists the Account Management team in servicing and retention of accounts.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide internal assistance to Account Managers.
- Handle all product implementation paperwork with carriers.
- Request, review, and coordinate updates. Track client plan documents such as booklets, contracts, SPDs, etc.
- Assist Account Managers with the preparation of materials for client meetings and renewals.
- Track and manage compliance documents as needed.
- Assist with enrollment and billing issues, as needed.
- Maintain accurate client and team information in agency management systems. Maintain client documents in system and shared drive.
- Gather renewal information and assemble applications and schedules for Account Management team.
- Assist Account Management team in delivering client service and meeting client retention goals.
- Prepare draft client communication materials (e.g. guides, brainsharks, education PPT).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Prior customer service experience and insurance industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
- High School Graduate, 4-year college degree preferred.
- Must currently hold or be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.
- Keep informed about industry information, technology and trends.
- Develop and maintain excellent carrier relationships.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
- Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.
- Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
- Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks with both concrete and abstract variables.
- Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs as well as knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Expected to be well versed on all compliance topics. Including, but not limited to, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform

The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills. In addition to the base salary, this role is bonus eligible.
