General Description: 

The National EB Career Development Specialist supports the strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies of the EB Career Development team. This position requires an individual who has strengths within several of the following disciplines: administration, information management, communication, quality assurance, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

The Career Development Specialist performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following as it relates to planning, managing, supporting, monitoring & evaluating the program:

  • Support Career Development initiatives through completion of assigned projects and tasks timely.
  • Manage calendar for 2-year training curriculum including communication and scheduling of each training course in the curriculum (amongst multiple classes and tracks).
  • Advise on and support curriculum path, content and scheduling.
  • Properly format, edit written materials and conduct peer reviews for accuracy.
  • Track, monitor and report on survey results, inquires/questions, and activities to aid in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the program.
  • Maintain program files timely, accurately and consistently, in accordance with workflows, procedures and best practices.
  • Shadow coaches to learn process and gain overall career development experience.
  • Work on various projects in support of objectives, as assigned.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ years of Employee Benefits experience.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience with EB Best Practices and Workflows.
  • High level of detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
