General Description: Assist Account Managers in the service and retention of clients.


  • Assist Account Managers with development of employee benefit summary drafts for clients. Includes annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, miscellaneous benefit changes and/or clarifications.
  • Fulfill request for supplies from clients and for preparation of open enrollment communications.
  • Request census data from clients and gather general client information from identified carriers.
  • Track receipt of ID cards, booklets, and contracts.
  • Request contract changes and/or plan amendments as needed.
  • Verify accuracy of client plan documents.
  • Prepare the account managers for employee meetings.
  • General administrative support for the team.
  • Develop client/carrier contact sheets.
  • Maintain accurate client and team information in agency management system.
  • Maintain client documents in ImageRight and share drive.
  • Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues.
  • Respond to requests from all partners by stated timeframes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
  • Open to feedback and coaching.
  • Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients and carriers.
