General Description: The Director IT PMO- P&C Applications will have the oversight of USI's P&C systems, including Sagitta, Imageright, Reference Connect and Surepath.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • IT Liaison to with corporate and regional operation leaders in Commercial Lines, Personal Risk and Small Commercial lines to define business solutions and system requirements.
  • Perform analysis, document business requirements and manage implementation of solutions within Retail P&C business unit.
  • Manage Retail P&C acquisition integration activities for systems. Convert acquired P&C systems into USI standard applications and processes.
  • Provide systems requirements to and work with Application Technology group and offshore resources to deliver projects and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure team on projects requiring computing resources and support from this group.
  • Manage a team of Business Analysts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Project Management -- A strong knowledge of project management methodology and tools
  • Ability to manage complex systems projects including upgrades and conversions
  • Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle and associated deliverables, especially in the requirements and testing phases of the SLC
  • Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Proven managerial experience
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated
  • Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining high quality and strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to travel when needed



Compensation & Benefits Information:

Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000 

This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 20%
