The Digital Content Manager’s core responsibilities are to create, improve, and maintain a range of content across our websites, email campaigns, social postings, and digital documents for our Emerson Reid and My Benefit Advisor brands.  This includes developing content to strengthen brand awareness, communicate our value propositions, generate sales leads, and communicate with clients; continuously monitor our content across all channels and our digital marketing system to ensure content integrity and update when needed; and review activity reports to understand effectiveness of content and adjust as needed. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

                     Collaborates with marketing, sales, design, and business teams to produce relevant content for all stages of our sales and marketing processes.

                     Create clear and compelling marketing content for various communication channels including web, email, social, video, and print.

                     Ensure content integrity of existing content across platforms and channels; monitor, revise, improve, and maintain as needed.

                     Write lead generation email campaigns with A/B testing and review tracking results to optimize messaging.

                     Proofread, edit, and enhance content based on channel segments.

                     Provide editorial and creative writing support to team members.

                     Collaborate with brand manager and design team to write or re-write content to fit design.

                     Monitor utilization, campaign reports, and google analytics to identify and recommend content changes.

                     Tracks, measures, and reports on content effectiveness.

                     Identifies and targets keywords and phrases and creates content around them.

QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                      5+ years of experience working in digital content or in a simialr role required.

                     BA Degree or similar equivalent work experience preferred.

                     A proven track record for superb written and oral communications; excellent proofreading and editing skills, and a passion for creating engaging content.

                     A proven ability to write with varying tone and the ability to translate industry jargon into copy that is of interest to the reader.

                     Experience within the health insurance, general agent, or brokerage industry is preferred, however not required.

                     Deep understanding of trends in content best practices.

                     Must be professional, organized, enthusiastic and a team player who can work independently.

                     Ability to take direction and follow through from concept through completion while meeting deadlines.

                     Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
