General Description:  The Senior Digital Marketing Leader is responsible for developing and executing strategies that create lead generation, new client acquisition and ongoing client communication.


  • Work in partnership with AI team to strategize on integration of Marketo platform with OMNI AI.
  • Develops digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Collaborate and train with internal teams on campaign execution- building landing pages and/or microsite, tracking codes, and reporting.
  • Design, build and maintain a fresh new instance of USI’s marketing automation platform.
  • Build dashboards for measuring and sharing results on key performance factors related to growth and to quantify the impact of marketing activities.
  • Deliver business insights and reporting with action roadmap to improve leader decision making.
  • Deliver planned and ad hoc email campaigns to support both external and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and execute customer nurture tracks and manage leads through the buyer journey.
  • Stay current with advances in digital marketing and AI.
  • Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation, regularly sharing your knowledge with the marketing team and leadership.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Marketo certified.
  • BS/BA in Business or similar field, MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of digital marketing and/or ecommerce work experience with a focus on performance-based growth marketing.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage inform and motivate.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, with in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Ability to work with colleagues and contacts at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Organized self-starter with a positive attitude that can juggle multiple priorities with firm deadlines.
  • Ability to travel 25%.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include walking, sitting, standing, bending and typing.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

·         Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.

·         Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand and bend.

·         Occasionally (1%-33% of time) work performed requires employees walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.

·         Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/ turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.
