General Description: The Corporate Sales Enablement manager is a critical leader in our sales and marketing team, helping to increase prospect engagement and conversion across USI. This role is responsible for the strategy and implementation of corporate business development initiatives, assisting with our marketing automation platform and training our regional sales enablement teams on how to effectively utilize our sales tools.  


·         Collaborates with key stakeholders in order to guide digital transformation initiatives for sales and marketing.

·         Aligns USI sales execution with marketing strategy, and aids in evolving our sales teams into the new era of social and insight driven selling.

·         Proactively owns and executes programs that drive productivity and efficiency of our sales teams, sales leaders, and marketing teams.

·         Works cross-functionally with sales leadership, marketing and other internal teams to develop solutions, content and ensure communication and learning objectives are met.

·         Provides end-to-end programs that drive sales results

  • Strategize and develop national business development events in partnership with the national marketing team and the regional sales enablement specialist teams to increase new business growth and retention.
  • Onboard and train regional sales enablement specialists on our marketing tools. Help rollout targeted marketing and sales programs in coordination with broader sales and marketing teams.
  • Work with chief sales officer and senior digital marketing manager to establish sales enablement metrics and objectives and assist with reporting.
  • Partner with corporate business initiatives team to incorporate sales and marketing data into the company’s sales automation processes and system (Microsoft Dynamic CRM, Marketo and others)
  • Provide leadership to the regional marketing and sales enablement specialist teams.
  • Help develop sales playbooks in collaboration with chief sales officer and regional sales leaders.
  • Participate in development and execution of USI’s innovation agenda as set forth by our executive team.
  • Work with national marketing team on company website initiatives ( including USI’s Insights/thought leadership program. .
  • Provide regular analytics to constituents to guide strategy discussions and resources

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with robust digital marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or Communications preferred).
  • 5+ years of related sales enablement and/or marketing experience supporting executive level.
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing, sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Effective communicator with strong editorial skills. Ability to work well with others and provide leadership and guidance in a matrix environment.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, WebEx.
  • Experience with salesforce management/CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong Social Media skills (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, requiring adaptability and effective communication skills.
  • Acute attention to detail and a drive to ensure adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Strong self-discipline to complete projects, while budgeting time to meet additional deadlines and immediate needs of producers and management.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Experience training others

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include driving, walking, sitting, standing, bending and typing.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

·         Occasionally (25% of time) work performed requires employees to drive to client appointments or offices, have repetitive foot movements, walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.

·         Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand and bend.

·         Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.

·         Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/ turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.
