USI is reimagining our Property & Casualty carrier analytics and placement technology approach, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst & Project Manager to execute on this highly visible, C-Suite driven strategy. You will be responsible for building foundational models to analyze our carrier performance, while working with internal stakeholders (regional leadership, senior management, and finance) to roll out the strategy nationally using defined metrics & KPI’s. Concurrently, you will partner with other members of the analytics team, IT and USI segment leaders to rollout innovative placement and marketing technology tools to complement our analytics strategy. These initiatives will help generate revenue uplift, drive efficiencies into our marketing & placement process and shape how we interact with our carrier partners.
- Work closely with the USI Corporate Executive team (C-Suite) and regional leadership to develop a national Property & Casualty revenue strategy. Utilize data driven analytics paired with market leading technology.
- Independently build complex data driven analytics models to support our carrier revenue and analytics strategy.
- Partner with IT and Property & Casualty leadership to drive internal efficiencies. Includes helping develop and roll out new placement and marketing technologies.
- Drive improvements in our internal placement metrics. Includes new business, persistency, premium growth, and loss.
- Monitor regional performance in alignment with the strategy to ensure accountability from both carriers and internal teams.
- Facilitate quarterly meetings with regional sales leaders, operational leaders, and financial analysts. Track progress towards operational goals and financial results.
- Present results to senior leadership as needed.
- 5-7 years of related experience. Knowledge and experience in Property & Casualty preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior insurance carrier experience a plus.
- Expert familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel required. Includes ability to build complex models to translate big data sets into executable business strategies.
- Proven ability to drive operational results in a matrix organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Must have a highly driven, data focused mindset.
- Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.
- Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand, and bend.
- Occasionally (1%-33% of time) walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.
- Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.
