General Description:  This Corp Ancillary Operations Analyst interacts with all areas of the business including the corporate CFO, COO, CEO and the Financial Management team of the operating regions.  The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who can confidently communicate their findings to key executives and take on activities with increasing responsibility.


·         Work closely with the USI Corporate/regional leadership to develop national EB ancillary / voluntary revenue strategy

·         Build and track operational metrics to measure execution against the strategy

·         Drive improvements in metrics for ancillary including, but not limited to, new business, persistency, premium growth and member growth and be able to influence the members of a matrix organization to improve their results

·         Benchmark carriers against each other on quote and sales activity

·         Represent USI to key leadership  at the carriers and be able to assist in negotiating new and/or modified agreement terms

·         Work with carrier partners to update agreements and appointments due to acquisition or other business changes

·         Track ancillary placement desk managers performance against the strategy to hold them accountable for performance 

·         Facilitate meetings quarterly with regional sales leaders, operational leaders and financial analysts to track progress towards operational goals and financial results

·         Present results to senior leadership as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·        Four year degree from a top undergraduate business school

·         Knowledge and experience in employee benefits

·        Minimum GPA of 3.0 required

·        Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience

·        Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and work-ethic

·         Proven ability to drive operational results in a matrix organization

·         Ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines under pressure

·        Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
