The Defined Contribtuion Consultant is a team member who works with direction of senior consultant and maintains regular client contact with Defined Contribution Consulting Clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages DC plan clients and projects. Develops and maintains client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and delivery of services in accordance with agreements.
• Completes client work that is assigned and reviewed by more senior team member
• Performs work without errors. Reviews work of other associates, as appropriate. Ensures associates follow appropriate processes and procedures.
• Interacts with peers and project members on the client team
• May explain work products, discuss milestones and progress for project, present ideas for solutions within project, and answer questions
• Identifies complex issues for clients
• Designs and implements effective processes to improve business results globally
• Keeps current on DC regulations and trends, and translates that information to clients. Improves client understanding of benefit plans and their importance.
• May be responsible for the day to day management and career development of DC associates. Provides oversight and work direction to direct reports or less experienced associates on client projects.
• Attains individual billing plan and client realization goals by performing work efficiently and generating projects from clients and other consultants. May be responsible for team billings/ realization.

• Ability to use one most office programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.
• Demonstrates a wide range of knowledge in most of the services within the Practice
• Communicates effectively, building interest and credibility with clients
• Supports a wide variety or project types within the Practice
• A subject matter expert in the operation, design, and regulations governing DC plans
Education:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with preference for business or related field
• Six or more years of experience in a related environment
• ASPPA or CEBS exams preferable
