General Description:

The Commissions Analyst will be responsible for processing commissions for the Securities department.



  • Process and balance commission statements, both automated and manual data entry, for mutual fund, annuity and brokerage business on the Broker/Dealers system (Winops).
  • Input and balance annuity payment processing on the Access data base.
  • Process semimonthly commission payouts to registered representatives and branch offices.
  • Extract miscellaneous reports from both Winops and Access for the accounting department and for distribution to various branch offices along with their commission checks.
  • Responsible for the daily balancing controls on the Broker/Dealer system (Winops)
  • Provide system maintenance for Winops and Access, including updating and maintaining all data base files.
  • Work with Winops IT personnel trouble-shooting systems problems as they occur.
  • Provide and design reports from Winops as needed.
  • Provide customer service to registered representatives, product sponsors and home office and branch associates.
  • Responsible for the receipt, and filing of, customer statements of accounts.
  • Open, sort and deliver mail.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED degree required; Bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Timely, efficient and accurate administrative and data entry skills.
  • Experience with Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables).
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Strong data entry skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Personable and credible.
  • Professional and dependable.
  • Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration in a team setting.
