General Description:

The Jr. Analytics technician supports the Casualty and Property Analytics team in the preparation and early interpretation of property and casualty analytics; verifies accuracy of insurance documentation; creates initial drafts of client/prospect output and performs other duties as assigned.


  • Data collection, entry, and preparation in ModMaster, Loss Forecaster, RiskMeter, and AIR Catastrophe modeling.

  • Completes analytical reports and interpretation, including loss summaries and graphs on larger accounts.

  • Coordinates work with account teams.

  • Communicates by email, telephone, and written correspondence with underwriters, producers, and clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.

  • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.

  • Maintain cordial and effective relationship with clients and coworkers.

  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals of the company.

  • College diploma required

  • Insurance license required

  • 1+ years of experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

  • Mod Review experience/knowledge a plus
