Do You Enjoy Working in a Sales/Marketing Environment and Have CRM Experience?


Use your CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system experience and strong attention to detail to ensure the effectiveness our sales team and growth of our organization!  You will provide resources throughout the sales process including managing the client databases/CRM to help ensure the integrity of the data and the sales reporting.  You will also provide training to our sales staff on the CRM system as well as on some company and related marketing processes and procedures; distribution of leads and reporting to senior management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to producers on existing and new topics within agency management system.
  • Work with Sales Leaders to ensure the success of newly hired/acquired producers including onboarding:
    • Provide agency management system training within 2 weeks of hire and on an-going basis.
    • Follow up training every two weeks until the Producer(s) have mastered the system.
    • Report training updates to Sales Leaders.
  • Maintain and ensure accurate information in agency management systems.
  • Track initiatives within agency management system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate and maintain various sales and management reports. Including cross sell, wins, new/lost business and exceptions. Follow up on any necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare and coordinate management reports for the Temperature Check meetings and Producer one-on-ones. Utilizing CRM and producer reports. Follow-up with Producers as needed for required information.
  • Ensure information is accurately reflected in systems. Make sure Opportunity Stages are accurate and coincides with recorded appointments and wins. 
  • Generate ideas and other sources (databases) for lead generation. Present recommendations to Sales Management for investment decision.
  • Align prospects with drip marketing / topic of the month (TOM) within segment.
  • Assist Marketing team with campaigns.
  • Coordinate and support sales staff training. Includes role-playing practice sessions, marketing opportunities, technical training, and sales presentation production.
  • Help producers meet their sales goals.
  • Support all High Impact Marketing programs working with sales leaders to identify qualified producers, training of the producers and execution/tracking of program as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience providing sales and or marketing support at the executive level. Administrative and insurance experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems preferred – MS Dynamics CRM is helpful. 
  • Proficient with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be computer savvy.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite of products. Including Word; Excel (ability to use formulas; graphs and charts); PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal, communication and problem-solving skills.
