About the Role:

The Regional Marketing Leader is responsible for overseeing placement activities for both new and renewal business across all client segments, while managing a team of Marketing Specialists. As the main regional contact for key carriers and intermediary partners, you will collaborate closely with the National Placement & Analytics team to execute effective marketing strategies. Your success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) related to speed to market, new business growth, client retention, and alignment with USI’s Fair Pay strategies.

What You'll Do:

  • Recruit, manage, and develop marketing and placement teams, including overseeing workloads, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor team performance against service standards using KPIs, strategic initiatives, and automation tools (such as U Place and U Market).
  • Partner with regional and national stakeholders to advance regional strategies, including working with cornerstone and regional carriers, wholesale, specialty programs, and other market initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives as the primary regional contact.
  • Provide guidance and engage national resources for challenging large accounts.
  • Assist with carrier escalations across all client segments when necessary.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and producers to support client insurance needs, and participate in local huddles and sales strategy meetings focused on renewals and new business.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, pricing strategies, and underwriting policies.
  • Lead the adoption and rollout of technology and workflow placement tools.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, with a comprehensive understanding of coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing or placement roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • P&C insurance license required; industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU are a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
