Description and Requirements

General Description: Assist the Technical Resources teams (Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement) by providing entry-level technical insurance support and coordination for assigned clients and prospects.


Responsibilities:

  • Support Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement consultants in servicing prospects and assigned accounts.
  • Verify accuracy of insurance documentation.
  • Complete data collection, entry, and preparation.
  • Complete analytical reports and provide entry-level analysis of data.
  • Prepare draft proposals, submissions, and comparisons.
  • Follow up with insurance carriers and underwriters on outstanding quotes.
  • Review insurance binders for accuracy and completeness. Assist clients with onboarding of client portal Risk Management systems.
  • Gather quote information, comparison of terms and conditions, and marketing summary to provide to account management teams.
  • Gather data and runs models for Casualty and Property teams. Includes Loss Forecasts, Loss Stratifications, Loss Development Factors (Triangles), Collateral, Premium Allocation, and Catastrophe modeling.
  • Assist claims consultant with reporting of complex claims.
  • Prepare Loss Trend Report and Claims Detail Reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop property and casualty knowledge and skillset.
