Description and Requirements
General Description: Assist the Technical Resources teams (Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement) by providing entry-level technical insurance support and coordination for assigned clients and prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Support Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement consultants in servicing prospects and assigned accounts.
- Verify accuracy of insurance documentation.
- Complete data collection, entry, and preparation.
- Complete analytical reports and provide entry-level analysis of data.
- Prepare draft proposals, submissions, and comparisons.
- Follow up with insurance carriers and underwriters on outstanding quotes.
- Review insurance binders for accuracy and completeness. Assist clients with onboarding of client portal Risk Management systems.
- Gather quote information, comparison of terms and conditions, and marketing summary to provide to account management teams.
- Gather data and runs models for Casualty and Property teams. Includes Loss Forecasts, Loss Stratifications, Loss Development Factors (Triangles), Collateral, Premium Allocation, and Catastrophe modeling.
- Assist claims consultant with reporting of complex claims.
- Prepare Loss Trend Report and Claims Detail Reports.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
- College degree preferred.
- Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop property and casualty knowledge and skillset.
