Apply nowGeneral Description: Assists the Technical Resources teams (Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement) by providing entry-level technical insurance support and coordination for assigned clients and prospects.
Responsibilities:
· Supports Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement consultants in servicing prospects and assigned accounts.
· Verifies accuracy of insurance documentation.
· Completes data collection, entry and preparation.
· Completes analytical reports and provides entry-level analysis of data.
· Prepares draft proposals, submissions and comparisons.
· Follows up with insurance carriers and underwriters on outstanding quotes.
· Reviews insurance binders for accuracy and completeness. Assists clients with onboarding of client portal Risk Management systems.
· Gathers quote information, comparison of terms & conditions, and marketing summary to provide to account management teams.
· Gathers data and runs models for Casualty and Property teams (i.e. Loss Forecasts, Loss Stratifications, Loss Development Factors (Triangles), Collateral; Premium Allocation; Catastrophe modeling)
· Assists Claims consultant with reporting of complex claims
· Prepares Loss Trend Report and Claims Detail Reports
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· 1-2 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency. College degree preferred.
· Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.
· Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products. Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
· Must have a capacity for analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
· Develops property and casualty knowledge and skillset.
