C# .NET Job Description

Come work at USI Insurance, a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm.  We are looking to hire an experienced C# .Net Developer to help us keep growing.  This is an individual contributor position.

C# Developer Responsibilities:

Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.

Creating in-house applications using the .NET framework.

Debugging and maintaining written code.

Developing technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.

Developing client displays and user interfaces.

Reporting and resolving issues related to C# .NET projects.

Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.

Working in a project team alongside other developers.

Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.

Working directly with business stakeholders as necessary to clarify issues and requirements.

Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.

Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.

C# Developer Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in information technology or STEM related field.

C#, .NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio experience.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.

Experience with SQL Server and Model-View-Controller (MVC).

Knowledge of other front-end coding-languages (React, Angular, JS, etc).

Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to communicate effectively with business users, team members and management.

Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a loosely structured small office environment.

Sound understanding of coding and development processes.

Experience with working in an agile environment.
