General Description: This position is responsible for creating and maintaining all client, contractor enrollment/payroll, and claims files for wrap-up. Follow up for outstanding enrollment items and assist with certificate renewal with Wrap-up contractors. Required to perform essential functions and meet service standards and Best Practices developed by USI.



  • Maintain files and perform other miscellaneous clerical duties for the department.
  • Create and adjust Word/Excel/PowerPoint documents for the department.
  • Data entry -- contractor's information into system.
  • Data entry -- contractor's payroll information into system.
  • Amend certificate holders in Sagitta as requested.
  • Assist in certificate renewal process; setting up masters; issuing renewal certs and mailing of certificates.
  • Issue general insurance certificates if master is already created.
  • Set up client/contractor files for each contract/phase.
  • Handle client related open items, follow-up via telephone and email.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school graduate with Wrap-up Administration and commercial insurance experience preferred.
  • Additional insurance career courses preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance policies & certificates of insurance is required.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Set priorities and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts. Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverage and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
