Working in the firm's Actuarial Practice providing administration and processing for client defined benefit plans. Responsibilities may include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Technical support on pension and retiree health plan valuations
· Maintain and screen actuarial valuation databases
· Perform benefit calculations
· Prepare government filings
· Assist with defined benefit related studies and projects
· Participate in communicating with clients
· Responsible for achieving annual individual billing goals
· Perform other duties as assigned by senior actuaries
Specific/Individual Core Competencies:
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and use of required processing software/systems
· Capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines with the highest degree of accuracy
· Detail-oriented with strong organization and communication skills
· Ability to work independently while also exhibiting a strong team approach to managing and developing relationships
· Work with a positive attitude and is a positive influence on others
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance, accounting or other related field
· At least one passed Society of Actuaries exam highly preferred
