General Description: Oversee the work product and management of team of AR Coordinator accountants. Ensure Corporate Accounting Center department quality standards are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for full-cycle recruitment, management, and development of 6+ AR Coordinator team members. Includes monitoring staffing, approving timecards, and performance management.
  • Facilitate team meetings and communications. 
  • Complete monthly/daily reporting for team results. Track department metrics and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
  • Manage scorecard process and calculate measurements for all team members. Ensure team members are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate ongoing coaching, training, and scorecard meetings in tandem with AC Operations Director.
  • Oversight of overall processes completed by assigned team. Includes AR adjustments and uncashed payments to clients. Release AR notices including statements and dunning notices. Assist with unclaimed property ID and filings.
  • Perform duties related to credit review for assigned region(s).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 4 years + progressive Accounts Receivable experience.
  • 1-2 years accounting experience in a leadership role required. Includes experience coaching, training, and assessing employees.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • Strong work ethic with a defined sense of urgency.
  • Organized self-starter that works well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and retention of pertinent information.
  • Accurate and fast data entry skills.
