Description and Requirements
General Description:
This position provides administrative support to the Employee Benefits Service team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support Producers with client communications.
- Prepare materials for client and prospect meetings.
- Request census data from clients and general client information from identified carriers.
- Maintain all team tracking lists (meetings, renewal calendar, etc.).
- Schedule and confirm client meetings (internal and external) for Producers and service team based upon client service calendar requirements.
- Prepare for in-office client/prospect meetings (room/equipment set-up and clean-up).
- As needed, provide general administrative assistance to the Employee Benefits Service team.
- Coordinate distribution of various mailing and communications as they occur (postal mail, via CRM, etc.).
- Coordinate Producer expense reports and travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate information in agency management systems.
- Respond to issues accurately and timely.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Prior customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- High School Graduate. 4 year college degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks with both concrete and abstract variables.
- Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions. Expected to become familiar with all Compliance topics including, but not limited to, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
