Description: Our Executive & Professional Solutions (EPS) specialist broker works directly with Sales Executives, Account Executives, Account Managers and Claims Advocates. Activities include, but are not limited to, new and renewal marketing, placement and handling of Management and/or Professional Liability insurance programs for our larger or more complex clients, along with handling bespoke questions from account service teams. All essential broking functions must meet the service standards and Best Practices developed by USI.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze client accounts for adequacy and appropriateness of D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime programs in conjunction with EPS regional and national leadership
- Prepare and deliver proposals, analysis and policy form comparisons as necessary.
- Inform the Sales and Account Support teams of pertinent Management Liability information that could impact a particular account, carrier, or the market in general.
- Participate in educational EPS training/seminars within the region.
- Respond to underwriters’ and service teams’ questions in a timely and professional manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay informed on issues that impact Management Liability whether legislative, industry or carrier specific.
- Interact with others effectively and purposefully by utilizing good communication skills and providing information and guidance as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- A valid State Property & Casualty insurance license will be required.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- 3+ years’ experience in Management/Professional Liability lines of coverage (Directors & Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Professional Liability/E&O).
