General Description:  This position has primary responsibility for providing high level, detailed support for the day to day activities of USI’s sales and marketing teams selling Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty insurance.


·         In-office support from 8:30am-4:30pm

Database management

  • Work in a Microsoft Dynamics database at a high level.
  • Maintains large sets of data in excel documents and modifies pivot tables
  • Provide database support for a roster of 20-30 producers in Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Provide database reporting and technology support for practice leader meetings.
  • Send Click Dimensions out monthly

Pipeline management

  • Help build and maintain pipelines that are compliant with corporate metrics.
  • Review pipeline with new and established producers for reporting updates
  • Conduct market research and provide information to Employee Benefits (EB) and Property & Casualty producers to help organize and optimize their pipeline.

LinkedIn Branding

  • Optimizing assigned producers LinkedIn and Sales Navigator
  • Help assigned producers meet their marketing / branding goals using LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • Record and audit assigned producers associations and the marketing material they use for referrals and networking.

Event Coordination

  • Project management of marketing strategies and events that create value for customers and prospects of USI services to further enhance and generate sales, including:
    • Seminars including pre-event and post event strategies
    • Lunch & Learns
    • Drip Marketing and Warming Campaigns
    • Coordination of industry white papers
    • Center of Influence & Networking Event leadership
    • Create marketing calendar of events for Benefits and P&C
    • Develop mailings for educating existing clients on important benefits, legal, and compliance information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or Communications preferred)
  • Time management skills
  • Strong Excel skills and proficient in other areas of MS office suite (Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Able to learn new systems/tools. Eager to improve their skillset
  • Demonstrated experience producing work with superior attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with business leaders of USI
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills
  • Organized self-starter with a positive attitude that can work multiple priorities with firm deadlines
  • Capable of supporting a group of individuals, prioritize daily workload and execute tasks in a timely manner.
  • Experience in a sales or marketing support role in the insurance industry highly desirable
  • Team oriented - works daily with leaders, producers, sales coordinators and sales support teammates
  • Very resourceful and nimble with responses
  • Interested in building and contributing to regional and national marketing teams and structures
  • Has a passion for talent and technology
