Under guidance provides day-to-day administrative and technical support to an assigned group of group benefit customers/prospects. Duties include:

  1. Responding to prospect/customer inquiries and request for information. Day-to-day customer issues including claims, invoicing, vendor questions, etc.
  2. Processing applications and renewals
  3. Checking documents for accuracy
  4. Inputting data into BP and ImageRight and maintain files
  5. Prepares specifications for requests for proposals and benefit/network comparisons.
  6. Assembling documents and preparing materials for meetings with customers and prospects.
  7. Creation and maintenance of employee education materials (booklets, summaries, etc.
  8. Marketing and spread sheeting of all lines of coverage (final documents to be peer reviewed by teammates)
  9. Coordination of 5500’s
  10. Contract review, collection of SPD’s, carrier placement
  11. Peer review of all documents
  12. Attend carrier trainings and events
  13. Coordinate all carrier and product implementations
  14. Assist/conducts OE meetings
  15. Set up and implementation of all Third Party Vendors
  16. Develops knowledge of insurance products, carrier administrative guidelines such as pre-existing conditions, waiver of premiums, conversions and compliance requirements including COBRA and HIPAA
