Job Description

Responsible for the combined Commercial line functions of account management, to develop and sustain relationships with existing clients, as well as generating new business revenues.

  • Retains existing accounts and develops opportunities for revenue enhancement with the largest and most complex clients; seeks referral opportunities from existing clients
  • Produces new business from new and existing clients
  • Ensures account profitability by managing the time and resources required to provide clients with high quality services per the client service plan
  • Develops and maintains consultative, partnership relationships with clients
  • Understand clients’ business sufficiently to provide advice, recommendations and services that are focused on their specific needs as appropriate to their strategic business plans
  • Addresses clients’ needs for professional communication and ensure clients receive timely and accurate service
  • Develops comprehensive client service plans that reflect clients’ business and risk management goals, and includes an outline of the services to be provided and action plans that include critical milestones, due dates and accountabilities
  • Communicates with clients and service team members to obtain the highest degree of client satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of Insurance industry experience. 5-7 years of Insurance broker experience required.
  • All lines experience a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated presentation capabilities and direct accountability on large complex accounts.
  • Experience managing complex commercial property and casualty accounts 
  • Experience effectively marketing to carriers and customers 
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and prospects 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills 
  • Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within 180 days of hire date. Compliance with state law requirements is required
