AVIATION INSURANCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 1 -  COMMERCIAL

 

The Aviation Practice Group consists of ten team members located in Atlanta, GA.  We market, place and service business on behalf of USI sales teams in other offices, and we write business direct with clients.  Dean Anderson is our Practice Leader who brings over thirty years of aviation insurance experience.  Our team has a unique family type of feel and our senior members have been here for twenty, fifteen and ten years.  We are a determined group, dedicated to providing great service as we all work to achieve our individual and team goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Responsible for the day-to-day account management of aviation accounts. 

  • Responsible for marketing to carriers and customers, preparing coverage/product recommendations and discussing renewals with customers. 

  • Develops and maintains working relationships with customers/prospects. 

  • Communicates with, services and provides comprehensive account support to assure customer needs are met. 

  • Communicates and builds relationships with aviation insurance carriers

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 2+ years of insurance experience 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Experience managing aviation insurance accounts 

  • Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions 

  • Microsoft Office Suite skills 

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Solid problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important 

  • Experience with marketing, placing and servicing an assigned book of aviation accounts

  •  Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within 180 days of hire date. Compliance with state law requirements is required.
